Data from official source

The 1034D is a basic 3/4-thread overlock serger, built for finishing seams and edges regularly without needing a cover stitch. It sews 4-thread overlock with two needles or 3-thread overlock with one, plus a rolled hem and a narrow hem: switching between them means moving the needle, not flipping a dedicated lever.

Cutting width runs from 5 to 7 mm and is set with the presser foot pressure dial, which stays adjustable at any time. The upper knife is retractable, so working close to the edge for a rolled hem doesn't risk nicking the fabric, and the removable trim trap catches fabric offcuts while you serge. Tension on the four threads stays manual, on independent dials for each needle.

It has no automatic needle threader and no quick-change device between 2, 3 and 4 threads: switching configuration is done by hand. It is a serger, it does not make buttonholes or straight finishing seams, and cover-stitch work needs a dedicated machine.
