The Acclaim is a 2-needle serger that runs 2 to 4 threads, with RevolutionAir threading on both loopers and needles: a burst of air pushes the thread through the tubular loopers, then a second button threads the needles. There are no tensions to set by hand: the Automatic Thread Delivery system works them out on its own based on the stitch chosen.

Stitch width runs from 1.5 to 7.5mm and length from 0.75 to 4mm, both set with a dial; the exclusive Wave Stitch adds a decorative wavy variant without switching machines. The presser foot lifts up to 6mm and its pressure is adjustable, useful when fabric thickness changes from one project to the next. It sews at up to 1,500 stitches per minute.

It's a basic overlock: no cover-stitch and no chainstitch, so anyone who needs those regularly should look further up the range.
