The Innov-is F540E is a single-needle embroidery machine: it does not sew, it only embroiders, with a single needle and a 180 x 130 mm work area that covers most garment and accessory projects without repositioning the fabric mid-design. The 193 built-in designs and 13 alphabets are chosen from the colour touchscreen, where each motif can be flipped, rotated and recoloured before stitching; speed reaches 650 stitches per minute.

It receives files over wifi and connects to the Artspira app to transfer a design from a smartphone without needing a USB stick, which is still available as a direct import port. Combining several motifs and editing fonts stay on-machine operations, with no separate software required.

It is a machine for those who want to embroider regularly on different projects without the sewing functions of a combo machine: anyone who also wants to sew needs a separate machine or a sewing-and-embroidery model.
