Data from official source

The hobbylock 2.5 is an entry-level Pfaff serger for 2, 3 or 4-thread work: it finishes and trims the fabric edge as it sews, without straight stitches or buttonholes. Threading stays entirely manual, with the included tweezers for the two loopers and a separate needle threader tool for the needles: there is no air system or push-button shortcut for setup.

It sews up to 1,100 stitches per minute, with an overlock width from 3 to 7 mm depending on which needle is used and stitch length from 1 to 4 mm. Differential feed runs from 0.6 to 2.0 and helps keep lightweight knits from puckering or slippery fabric from stretching. The stitch finger lever moves to switch to a rolled edge, the upper cutter can be disengaged for flatlock work, and cutting width is fine-tuned with a dedicated dial. The included 2-thread converter clips onto the upper looper for 2-thread stitches.

Thread tension is manual on separate dials for needles and loopers, and a tray with a bag collects fabric trimmings under the work area. It weighs 8.7 kg. It suits someone taking up serging for the first time who is fine threading by hand each time, not someone looking for setup shortcuts.
