Data from official source

The Elna 8100 is an entry-level single-needle embroidery machine: a black-and-white LCD touchscreen, a single 140 x 140 mm hoop and 55 built-in designs with 3 alphabets to get started without buying anything else. Speed is adjustable between 400 and 650 stitches per minute, and files load from USB or save directly on the machine.

Editing functions stay essential but cover the basics: motifs and alphabets can be combined, rotated, resized and mirrored by dragging on the screen. It only reads the .JEF format, so designs downloaded in other formats need converting before loading.

It is a machine for anyone who wants to try machine embroidery without the complexity of models with large interchangeable hoops: the built-in design library is small and the single hoop limits how big a project can be.
