The Celeste Innov-is CX1 is the top of Brother's European electronic range, presented by the manufacturer for people who take sewing and quilting seriously. The 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen, 760 utility and decorative stitches, and a top speed of 1050 stitches per minute set it clearly apart from mid-tier machines like the F560.
The integrated direct dual feed helps move different fabric layers together without the top one creeping ahead, useful on quilts and slippery fabric. Presser foot pressure is adjusted electronically from the panel rather than with a dial, and the knee lifter leaves both hands free to guide the work. The thread cutter and thread tension are both automatic, and the needle threader takes a single motion.
It is a heavy machine, over 17 kg, built to stay on a dedicated table rather than be moved around often, and it ships with a semi-rigid case. It suits someone sewing and quilting regularly who wants room to grow, not someone looking for an affordable first approach to sewing.
