Dürkopp Adler 911R-210-6055-10

The 911R-210-6055-10 is a CNC-controlled pattern-sewing unit whose hook, needle and sewing foot rotate together, clockwise or anticlockwise without limit and without twisting the thread — so the stitch looks the same in every sewing direction, even on tight curves. Its 600 x 550 mm sewing field is the size the manufacturer recommends for decorative seams on car interior parts such as door panels and armrests, where large interchangeable clamps are needed.

It sews at up to 1,800 stitches per minute with programmable stitch length from 0.1 to 12.7 mm; the seam is written separately with DACcad Professional software, and the machine stores up to 199 patterns of up to 20,000 stitches each. A short-thread trimmer built into the throat plate leaves only about 5 mm of thread, so the seam starts clean without manual finishing; the presser foot lifts on its own, pneumatically.

It needs single-phase 230V power at 50 or 60 Hz, and compressed air (0.4 NL per stroke at 6 bar); it's set up for needle system 134-35 and synthetic or core thread Nm 80/3-10/3. This is a factory-floor unit, not a workshop one: it weighs 300 kg and stands 170 cm tall, plus room for the programming PC.
