The Janome CoverPro is a coverstitch machine, that is, it sews parallel rows of stitching that finish hems and cuffs. It sews with one, two or three needles: one needle makes a chain stitch, two make a coverstitch in standard or narrow width, and three make a triple coverstitch. The free arm, the narrowed part of the base, lets fabric already sewn into a tube slide over it. The differential feed, which moves the fabric layers at different speeds, is adjustable. Presser foot pressure is adjustable and an LED light illuminates the sewing area. The tension system has level control and there is a tension release device. Four thread cones and a dust cover are included.
