Elna eXperience 540S
SewingSpecs does not sell and does not show shop prices: check the price where you buy.
The eXperience 540S is an entry-level electronic machine: the maker positions it for people starting out or sewing occasionally, and the feature set follows from that. The horizontal rotary hook has a transparent cover, the seven-piece retractable feed dog helps fabric move in a straight line, and foot pressure adjusts to suit light cotton or thicker layers.
Fifty stitches and three one-step buttonhole styles cover everyday use; thread tension stays manual, with no automatic correction. Maximum stitch width is 7 mm, length 5 mm: enough for a basic wardrobe, not for wider decorative stitches. Fifteen needle positions let you shift the seam line without moving the fabric.
