Data from official source

The TMAR-V1512C is Tajima's high-end multi-head embroidery machine: twelve heads with fifteen needles each, synchronised on the same design, built for logos and marks on finished garments in large quantities rather than single pieces. The Digitally Controlled Presser foot (DCP) measures fabric thickness at every stitch and holds the material steady even on thick leather, very thin fabrics and folds, cutting down on press marks and thread-trimming errors.

The tubular frame is the base setup; the cap frame and the border frame remain separate accessories, with a per-head embroidery space that shrinks accordingly. The 12.1-inch touch panel and the direct switches on each head let operators act without walking back to the central panel, and the new picker-free trimming system speeds up bobbin changes.

This is a production-floor machine: it exceeds five and a half metres in width in the standard-frame configuration, and the three-phase power supply is factory-configured to one of several voltage standards, not switchable after purchase.

Pros and cons

In favour

  • The Digitally Controlled Presser foot (DCP) measures fabric thickness at every stitch and reduces fluttering, useful on thick leather and very thin fabrics source
  • Twelve synchronised heads: output multiplies without multiplying operators
  • The 12.1-inch touch panel is among the largest in the category and switches operating language machine by machine source
  • The picker-free trimming system makes bobbin changes easier and shortens thread tails on the back of the fabric source

Worth knowing

  • Over 5.6 metres wide in the standard-frame configuration: this needs production-floor space, not a small workshop source
  • The cap frame is an optional accessory, not included
  • The three-phase power supply is factory-configured to one of six voltage standards: it cannot be switched after purchase source
