The LZ-2290CF-7 is a "full digital" industrial zigzag machine: horizontal and vertical feed are driven by stepper motors controlled from the touch panel, so stitch width, timing and shape are set on screen instead of with mechanical levers. It comes with 11 stitch-shape families and 20 built-in patterns — zigzag, T-stitch, bartacks — and stores up to 200 custom patterns, useful for a line that changes jobs several times a day without retooling the machine.
The multi-layer detection device keeps separate settings for the flat and the overlapped sections of the same piece, and active tension corrects itself as the bobbin thread runs low — two things a mechanical zigzag machine leaves to the operator. The presser foot lifts 5.5 mm by hand and up to 10 mm by knee lifter or auto-lifter.
It's a department machine for bartacking, zigzag seams and stitching on structured garments — bras, collars, flap pockets — not a straight-stitch production line: the automatic thread trimmer and direct-drive motor make it suited to repeated cycles all day.
