Jack S7
SewingSpecs does not sell and does not show shop prices: check the price where you buy.
The S7 is a post-bed machine with a motorized double roller feed, built for already-shaped pieces that a flat table cannot turn: shoe uppers, bags, suitcases, gloves and leather goods where the seam follows a three-dimensional curve. The upper and lower rollers and the needle are each driven by their own stepper motor, so the stitch stays accurate even where the length would otherwise shrink on a corner.
The backtack lever is quiet (the manufacturer rates it at 20 dB against 50-60 dB for normal speech) and the handwheel doubles as a fan to keep the internal parts cooler. The 5-inch touch panel switches speed, stitch length and sewing mode; a simpler button-panel version also exists.
This is not a flatbed machine: the slim post makes it easier to reach tight spots, but it is still built for bulky, already-shaped pieces rather than flat fabric.
