The bernette 48 FUNLOCK is a combination machine that does both overlock and coverstitch. It offers 23 stitches: 15 overlock, 3 coverstitch, 4 combination and 1 chainstitch, worked with 2, 3, 4 and 5 threads. Differential feed (which controls how much fabric advances above and below the presser foot) is included. The threading paths are colour-coded, and there is a needle threader and a manual threader for the loopers. The knife is driven from below and is adjusted with one hand. An LED lights the work area, and the box includes the trim bin and the upper looper converter.
