The b08 Straight Stitch is a high-speed mechanical machine dedicated to straight stitch only: no zigzag, no buttonholes. The DC motor reaches 1600 stitches per minute, one of the highest figures among domestic machines, and holds its power even sewing slowly through multiple layers or through leather and denim.

The bobbin is extra-large, holding 40% more thread than a standard bobbin, and the independent winding motor refills it without stopping the seam in progress; the thread cutter is automatic and fires from a large button on the front of the machine. It requires specific high-speed HLx5 needles: ordinary domestic machine needles are not suited to it. The included 60x40 cm extension table adds room for quilts and larger projects.
