A 140 x 140 mm square hoop for Janome's single-needle Memory Craft embroidery machines. It is the size the product page names the hoop by, sized for initials, small monograms and single motifs that do not need more room.

It fits the Memory Craft 500E and 400E and the 550E, including the Limited Edition version: outside that family the mount to the embroidery arm may not match. The hoop's wear parts - the tightening screw, spring and nut - are sold separately as spares, so a hoop that loses its grip does not always need full replacement.

Staying fixed at 140 x 140 mm, it does not cover designs larger than that: for those the same machine range calls for a different hoop.
